4LR Technology
Ariat's entry-level technology, Four Layer Rebound (4LR), cushions and stabilizes the foot for all-day comfort and performance. The four-layer footbed provides superior comfort while the lightweight shank stabilizes to add support. 4LR Technology works with a variety of use-specific outsoles.
ATS Technology
Ariat's mid-level technology, Advanced Torque Stability (ATS), supports and cushions the foot, promoting good posture and reducing fatique for all-day work or play. The moisture-wicking, gel-cushioned footbed with heel stabilizer delivers support, rebound and stability while keeping the food cool and dry. Enhanced stability is provided by a lightweight, ergonomic composite forked shank. ATS Technology works with a variety of use-specific outsoles.
ATS Max Technology
Ariat's ATS Max Technology is designed to provide durable support for tough tasks and long hours with additional elements to provide extra shock absorption and stability. The moisture-wicking, gel-cushioned footbed with heel stabilizer delivers support, rebound and stability while keeping the food cool and dry. The extra-wide shank has forefoot and heel stabilizers for superior support and fatique reduction, while the EVA mid-sole absorbs shock. Oil and slip-resisting Duratread outsoles provide maximum wear resististance and ergonomic flexibility.
Cobalt Technology
Designed to meet the needs of the professional horseman, reducing skeletal impact stress on knees, hips and the lower back and also reeducating skeletal and muscular fatigue and injuries. The SKYDEX Smarter Cushioning shock dispersing barrier and gel-molded heel spring absorb heel stress and aid in energy return. EVA strike pad and fork-shaped shank provide stability and extra cushioning while maintaining balance and proper body alignment.
Cobalt Quantum Technology
Ariat's premium multi-system technology integrates a variety of components to provide the ultimate in breathable comfort, support, rebound, cushioning, stability, and ergonomic performance. Breathable, lightweight open-cell polyeurethane footbed with heel pad provides shock absorption, rebound and energy return. Core Stability Technology (CST) delivers flexible, full-foot support and stability.
Cobalt XR Technology
Ariat's performance technology, Extended Range Sequential Technology (XR), utilizes a variety of components to provide dynamic cushioning, stability and flex to reduce stress and increase efficiency with each step. Low-friction, gel-cushioned footbed wicks away moisture keeps the foot cool and dry. Orthotic arch and heel support deliver superior shock absorption. Rebound and energy return are enhanced by a Propulsion Grid in the heel, while the forefoot stability plate and forked shank provide extended support, stability and balance.
Dual Density TPU (Thermoplastic Polyeurethane) Technology
Ariat's non-marking TPU outsole provides excellent durability, flexible comfort, superior traction and oil/heat resistance. Thermoplastic Polyeurethane delivers superior traction and is slip, heat, and oil resistant. Provides exceptional cushioning, rebound, and flexibility for maximum comfort. Non-marking and durable.
Dual Pro Technology
Ariat's groundbreaking, innovative hybrid outsole fortifies a leather outsole with injected rubber inserted at key zones for enhanced durability, grip, and comfort. 11-iron Veg-Tan leather outsole delivers a traditional profile. Duratread heel taps add traction and extended heel durability.

Ariat's Duracrepe Outsole Technology delivers the comfort of crepe with the outstanding durability of rubber in key wear areas, and is 30% slimmer than traditional crepe outsoles.
