That’s a Spicey Meat a Ball!

If you’ve got parties to go to that require you to bring a dish, here’s an appetizer that’s sure to please and easy to make ahead of time.

PORCUPINE MEATBALLS
(Makes six servings)

1 pound ground turkey
1 10 1/2-ounce can cream of mushroom soup
1 cut instant rice
1/2 cup dehydrated onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/3 cup tomato sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the tomato sauce. To make the mixture easier to work with spray your clean, dry hands with a nonstick vegetable spray.

Place about 2 tablespoons of the mixture in your hands and roll into a ball. Arrange meatballs close together in an 8-inch square baking dish that has been sprayed with vegetable spray. Pour tomato sauce over meatballs. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about an hour.
