Shopping Western Style Episode 2

Justin McKee and Paul Patterson discuss the legacy of Lucchese boots, which originated in 1883. No other boot fits the human foot like a Lucchese boot, thanks to Lucchese’s original design, which remains the only one of its kind in boot making today. And because of a continuing commitment to this rare art, the making of a Lucchese boot takes time. From the careful selection and cutting of the finest grade of leathers, to the hand-driven lemon wood pegs and meticulous finishing of a boot, each step is considered critical to our finished product. Lucchese’s boot designs may demand more money, time and skill, but when you slip your foot into a Lucchese boot, you’ll know why we insist on only the finest.

Justin and Paul discuss the new edition of Lucchese’s Xtreme Crepe Lite boots. These boots are extremely light weight, extremely flexible and extremely comfortable. Check out PFI’s exclusive Lucchese Smooth Ostrich Xtreme Crepe Lite boots that feature a burnished smooth ostrich foot with a soft burnished calf shaft. Lucchese offers additional exclusive boots to PFI like the Burnished Quilled Ostrich boot that features a burnished quilled Ostrich foot with a soft burnished ranch shaft.

Justin and Paul discuss the women’s Lucchese1883 boots. Appropriately named for the year Lucchese created it’s first boots, the 1883 brand is reminiscent of the traditional hallmarks of handcrafted boots noted with that era. With 1883, Lucchese rededicates its century-long commitment to craftsmanship and quality while incorporating “fashionable up to the minute” styling for your lifestyle. Lucchese 1883, a true modern classic. Check out PFI’s exclusive Lucchese Black and Brown Quilled Ostrich Boots. Great to wear with boots and skirts.

Justin and Paul discuss great cooking grilling techniques with products from Diamond Ridge Market. Try Bronco Bob’s Smoked Bacon Chipotle Sauce or Grill Shakers (Steak) on a juicy steak. Justin and Paul discuss PFI’s large array of Ryan Michael shirts, with over twenty to choose from, at great prices. Ryan Michael shirts are known for their broad palette of colors, and the manner in which they are infused into each garment to produce a distinctive look. It means they must blend the best natural fibers like cotton, silk, and linen in new and striking ways to create designs both refined and comfortable.

Justin, Paul and Josh Moore (Saddle and Tack Manager) invite country music legend Moe Bandy to their steak dinner. Moe Bandy was one of the most popular country singers of the 1970s, turning out a series of hits in the latter half of the decade that made many fans and critics believe he was one of the great honky tonk singers. Bandy’s songs never strayed far from the traditional barroom fare — delivered with a knowing sense of humor, loving, cheating, drinking, and patriotic songs form the core of his repertoire. Throughout the late ’70s and early ’80s, the singer racked up hits. His audience declined somewhat a decade after his career took off, yet he has remained a popular favorite singing currently at the Starlite Theater in Branson, Missouri.

Moe enjoyed a great meal with products from PFI’s Family Farms at Diamond Ridge Market. PFI’s Family Farms brand features salsas, pickles, peppers, BBQ sauces, pickled eggs and asparagus, along with jams and jellies.

Justin and Josh discuss the Tucker Gen II High Plains Saddle and the comfortably of this trail saddle. Tucker Saddles has taken its most popular designs to the Next Generation of ultimate comfort with the Gen II: High Plains Trail Saddle. New V-Foam padding paired with Tucker’s patented shock-absorbing Gel-Cush seating makes this saddle more comfortable than the original. The seat also features MicroCell ventilating top-grain leather to let your seat breathe. The GII Fit Fusion tree has self-adjusting Poly-Foam bars to make this the most comfortable saddle your horse will ever have on. The new GII skirt design features the Gel-Cush comfort bar pad system and premium 100% virgin wool lining. The adjustable rigging features three options while eliminating bulk under the rider’s leg for closer contact. The Fit-Fusion tree is a combination of carbon fiber reinforced wood and a self-adjusting polyfoam bar. Josh introduces Robin Gollehon who discusses the Yearling Head Start Program. This program is designed to give young horses a leg up on their future careers under saddle. The program begins with preparing the horses for lounge line to show, sell or to determine their potential for the two year old futurities. The program’s phase two is the “Get Ready To Ride” program which is the groundwork for coming two year olds in a step by step process as they prepare for life under saddle. Robin not only provides that service to breeders and owners but also teach them how to do it themselves with private lessons and clinics.
