Josh and Paul discuss spurs, which help spur the animal in the direction they need to go. The Antique Floral Copper and Brass Spur features a 1” band, a 2 1/8” shank and a 6 point rowel create a great basic spur. The Rosebud Rowel Spur features a 1” band, 1 3/8” shank and an 8 point rowel which is great for performance riders. The Brush Stainless Steel Spur features a 1” band, 2 1/8” curved shank with a 6 point rowel is typically known as a trainer’s spur. The Women’s Brushed Stainless Steel Spur features a 1” band, 2 ½” shank and a 6 point rowel.
