Awhile back you may remember seeing the Hampton family on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Well PFI and our partners, who manufacture the great products you will find at our store, had a big hand in in the project. Justin McKee will take us on location to the Hampton family home to meet the wonderful family. We will take a tour of the new house and barn to get a behind the scenes look at how it all happened. From Ariat donating full new wardrobes and boots to the whole family to Circle Y donating new saddles for every person in the family. Purina donating horse, cat, and dog food. You won’t believe how much the community pitched in either, it really was a team effort. So enjoy a heart warming story of “Cowboys Helping Cowboys”!

Josh introduces Robin Gollehon, and discusses the Yearling Head Start Program. This program is designed to give young horses a leg up on their future careers under saddle. The program begins with preparing the horses for lounge line to show, sell or to determine their potential for the two year old futurities. Phase two is the “Get Ready To Ride” program which is the groundwork in a step by step process as they prepare for life under saddle. Robin not only provides that service to breeders and owners but also teach them how to do it themselves with private lessons and clinics.
