Our second annual Mule Jump, presented by Cinch, was held in the PFI Western Store parking lot this past Saturday, June 20, 2015. It was a toasty 92° at the 1:00 p.m. start time, and it only got warmer as the competition between the mules heated up. We had participants from five different states: Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota. Our competitors from Minnesota drove a total of 18 hours to make it here! When asked what the Mule Jump was all about, Les Clancey said, “It’s more about the bragging rights.”
We had all sizes and age ranges of mules come out to compete, like Babe, the 30 year-old mule that made this her final competitive mule jump. The competition was split into three size categories: Micro-Mini and Mini Mules (40” and under), Small Mules (40.1" to 52.3”), and Large Mules (53” and above). The Large Mules category was also split into Amateur and Pro categories. Congratulations to all of out 2015 Mule Jump winners and thanks to everyone who came out for this great event!
