Valentine Manicure with Cactus and Hearts Nail Art

Valentine's Day is on the way! No matter what your plans are this year, fun nail art with hearts always helps set the mood for some Valentine cheer. This cute cactus and heart nail art manicure is simple to create. We used a matte polish for our Valentine design, but feel free to try using sparkles, a polish with shimmer, or even add a few rhinestones to make your nails even more unique.

 

Valentine Cactus Nail Art Step 1

First, pick out which two nail polish colors you want to use for your base coat. We used a bright matte green color on four of our fingers and a hot pink polish on our ring finger for contrast.

Next, paint a cactus on your ring finger. We used the same matte green color we used for our base coat to paint the cactus. For more control, we painted our cactus with a fine detail paintbrush. You can also buy a set of nail art brushes made specifically for different types of nail art.

For the last step, we used the same pink color as our base coat to paint small pink hearts on our remaining fingers. The contrast of the hot pink hearts on the bright green nails really makes this manicure design pop!
