Blending old-fashioned country charm, lyrical wit and rock n’ roll grit into radio-friendly hook-heavy pop nuggets, Old Dominion has emerged as one of the hottest breaking bands in country music. Recently tapped as New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year at the ACM Awards and ACC Awards, Old Dominion also just learned that they are up for two CMT Awards next month. Last fall they celebrated their debut single and two week No.1 “Break Up With Him” and released their first full-length album Meat and Candy, which Entertainment Weekly called a “deceptively smart, occasionally cheeky, stellar debut.” The band is on the road with Kenny Chesney again this year for his Spread The Love Tour while its second single “Snapback” races up the charts, currently Top 5. Consisting of lead singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers, the band has spent eight years honing their craft, each making a name for themselves in Nashville by penning songs for the likes of Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and more. Now it’s nothing less than the country rock outfit’s defining moment.
Nominated by American Country Countdown Awards as “2016 Breakthrough Male Artist of the Year” Michael Ray’s debut single “Kiss You in the Morning” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Music Charts. His resonant voice and knack for crafting vibrant, upbeat contemporary country-rock helped him win CW Network's reality television vocal competition “The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep” in 2012.
