Happy 4th of July! We're always excited to celebrate the birthday of our beautiful country. In the words of President Kennedy, "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them." One of our greatest privileges is meeting so many people who still believe in their Western roots and embrace the honor of what it means to be an American. We know that everyone wants to be with the people they love this weekend, so we put together some of our favorite patriotic songs and country music that the whole family can enjoy.

"Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts

If you haven't screamed along to this song with your favorite road trip crew, are you even really living? Rascal Flatt's cover is a must-have party song. Whether you're taking your speaker out on the river or you're lighting up the barbecue, you simply can't forget to put this track on your playlist!

"Take Me Home (Country Roads)" by John Denver

Think of this one as more of a game to see how many of your friends suddenly break into song when the chorus hits. Everyone will go crazy for John Denver's all-American voice. How can they not, right?

"Only in America" by Brooks & Dunn

One of the reasons we love country music is that it expresses the values we love most. The style of country music changes over time, but you always know it's a good one if it makes you proud to be an American.

"Our Song" by Taylor Swift

There's definitely something magical about screen doors, old porch steps, and cruising the back roads with nowhere to go. "Our Song" topped country music boards for a total of 24 weeks, making it a surefire hit for your soundtrack.

"Days Go By" by Keith Urban

I can feel 'em flyin' like a hand out the window in the wind. This song is all about living your days to the fullest. It reminds us all of the freedom we have to hit the open road. So turn the volume up and soak up every moment.

"American Soldier" by Toby Keith

It doesn't take a holiday to appreciate the sacrifice people made to protect our freedom. This is actually one of our favorite songs that we play all the time. Toby Keith's powerful voice reminds us all: freedom isn't free.

"God Bless the U.S.A." by Lee Greenwood

The lyrics say it all:

"And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up
Next to you and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA."
